Licensing & Regulatory Information

Parthenais Security is being developed as a private security provider in Ontario. This page distinguishes planned services from current operating status.

Current status: Parthenais Security is in its pre-launch stage and is not currently offering regular security guard services to the public.

Ontario private security regulation

Private security guard and private investigator activities in Ontario are regulated under the Private Security and Investigative Services Act, 2005 and its regulations. Applicable licensing and regulatory requirements must be satisfied before regulated services are provided.

Security personnel

When PSS becomes operational, personnel performing work that requires an Ontario security guard licence will be required to hold the appropriate valid licence and comply with applicable provincial requirements.

Agency licensing

PSS will not represent a future agency licence as active until the applicable licence has been issued and is in effect. Licensing information on this page will be updated as the company's operating status changes.

Uniforms and identification

Where applicable, PSS uniforms, identification and marked security vehicles will be designed and used in accordance with applicable Ontario requirements.
